¨I have had my horses at several stables in Andalusia but since I moved them to la Cuadra Ronda they are thriving! Elske keeps me informed about how they are doing and advises about their wellbeing. When I visit there are no surprises healthcare wise and I can spend quality time with them. I am really pleased I found La Cuadra Ronda and recommend them to everyone who wants to train or retire their horse where it will be well taken care of and in a safe environment.¨

Well being
Social interaction
All the horses at our stable have the opportunity to connect with their neighbours. Some owners choose to match up their horse with another so they can roam freely together in the paddocks and have a good social life. As a special we have one big group-paddock for a herd of max 6 horses.
Movement
During the day the stabled horses will be turned out in their paddocks. There they can run and play, eat and interact with their neighbours. Daily turnout can be from 5 up to 12 hours a day (depending on weather conditions). Paddock horses can roam freely 24 hours a day.
Feed
We feed 5/6 times a day. We give plenty of hay as we believe that horses need to eat little and often to avoid ulcers and boredom. 30 to 60 minutes after every hay portion we administer hard feed. Giving the horse time to digest will increase the uptake of nutrients, which leads to healthier horses and less chance of colic.
Supervision
Our dedicated and specialised team are at the facilities 24/7 and are fully trained to take upmost care of your horse.
Products
We are always looking for the best products. This resulted in the following selection:
heno de avena – we have a special arrangement with our supplier that the hay will be cut when it is still green and the oats immature (milky).
heno de hierba del Norte – for owners that want to supply a healthy, herbal, softer hay to their horses, we offer hay from the north.
feed – after thorough research and advise from a nutritionalist we decided on the following characteristics as the upmost best and most suitable for the type of horses that enter our stables: a high level of fibre (16%) and protein (15%) and low percentages of starch (11%) and sugar (approx 4%).
